Our place is in the R Building, room 301, over in Hanjer Nagar near the Pump House. If you have ever been to Andheri East, you know it is always crowded and moving fast. We are tucked away a bit, but it is a good spot for us to handle the daily load. The office is pretty basic. We have some chairs for people to wait in, though they are not the most comfortable things in the world. We have a few computers that have seen better days, but they work well enough for what we need. Most of us take the train or the bus to get here, so we know the struggle of the morning commute in Mumbai. The Pump House area is a landmark most people recognize, which helps people find us. We get people coming in from the nearby housing colonies and small businesses. It is a lot of paperwork, honestly. We spend a lot of time checking numbers and making sure everything is filed where it belongs. We do not have a fancy lobby or free coffee for guests. It is just a room where work happens. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we have not gotten around to it yet. We are more focused on getting through the stack of files on our desks. It is a straightforward environment, and we like it that way. No one is trying to impress anyone here; we just want to finish our tasks.
