Our office in Gandhinagar is located at Plot No 1524 1 in Sector 2 C. If you know the city, you know how everything is laid out in a grid, which makes it easy to find but also means every street looks a bit like the next one. The building is a sturdy structure that handles the Gujarat heat pretty well most days. Inside, we have a long hallway that leads to the different work areas. The tiles on the floor are a light grey and they show every bit of dirt that gets tracked in from the street outside. We spend most of our time under the constant hum of the ceiling fans. There isn't much on the walls except for a calendar and a clock that is always about five minutes fast. We have got a small area for people to sit while they wait, but the chairs aren't the most comfortable things in the world. Most of the time, it is just us and the sound of the traffic from the main road nearby. The windows are a bit high up, so you can't see much of the street unless you are standing. We keep a stack of newspapers on the table that usually gets read by the end of the day. It is a very practical space with no extra frills or decorations. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun finally goes down.
