Dess Technologies

Working inside SEEPZ is a bit different than a normal office. You have to go through the gates and the security checks every single day, which can be a bit of a drag if you’re running late. Dess Technologies is located in the A Wing of SDF-VI, specifically at unit 174-B. It’s a huge building with a lot of different companies, so it took us a while to stop getting lost in the hallways when we first started. Our space is pretty functional. We have rows of workstations and a small area where we keep the server racks. It’s always a bit chilly because the air conditioning has to stay on for the equipment. We spend our hours coding and managing tech stuff. It’s quiet work, mostly just the sound of clicking keyboards. Sometimes we all go down to the canteen together to grab some food and talk about things that aren’t work-related. The view from the window isn't much, just other buildings and the busy internal roads of the zone. We don't have any marketing people or a sales team sitting here. It’s just the folks who do the actual technical work. We’ve decorated our desks with a few personal items to make it feel less like a box. It’s a solid place to work, and we’ve got a good rhythm going. Nothing flashy, just a dedicated group of people doing their bit.
