Design Tech

You can find us over at Shree Ghant Akarna Market in Bandra West. We’re up on the 4th floor, in room 401. Design Tech is a small operation, really. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks with a lot of coffee cups scattered around the place. Bandra is always moving, and being in the market area means there's a lot of noise from the street coming in through the windows. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the honking anymore. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's filled with samples, old sketches, and rolls of paper that we really should organize better one of these days. We do a lot of drafting and planning here. Some days it’s quiet and we just work through the afternoon, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once. We’re not a big firm with a front desk or any of that fancy corporate stuff. You just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer screen. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at the same time, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. The market downstairs has everything we need, so we usually grab lunch from one of the stalls nearby. We just try to get the work done right without making a big fuss about it. No big speeches, just honest design work from a small room in Bandra.
