Design Spark

We’ve been here in Someshwara Nagar for a while now. Our office is on Malad 1st Main Road, which gets pretty busy during the mornings. It’s just a regular spot where we sit and get through our design work every day. We didn't want a fancy corporate office in some glass building. Instead, we have this space at number 28. It feels more like home than a workplace. Most days start with someone making tea and opening the windows to let a bit of the Malad breeze in, though mostly it’s just the sound of traffic. We have a few desks scattered around and plenty of sketches lying on the floor. People in the neighborhood know us as the quiet folks who stay late with the lights on. We don't have a big reception or anyone in a suit greeting you at the door. You just walk in and see us working. Design Spark isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us trying to make things look decent for our clients. Sometimes the printer jams and we spend half an hour fixing it, or we argue about which color looks better on a logo. It's a very human way to work. We like being part of this local patch of Malad. It’s practical and it works for us. We don't need much more than our computers and a good spot to sit. It’s been a long journey from when we first opened, but we’re still here doing our thing.
