Desai Arts

Our little place, Desai Arts, is located right in Saujanya Apartments, specifically at number 13. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market areas, which is nice most of the time. Being near the Bank of Maharashtra on Dadabhai Nagar Road makes it easier for people to find us, though people still get turned around occasionally. We’ve been operating out of this apartment space for years now. It doesn't really feel like a typical office or shop because it's part of a residential building. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors or see kids playing outside while we’re working. We started out just doing small projects and it slowly grew into a full-time thing for the family. The space is a bit small, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. There’s usually a pile of materials in one corner and some finished pieces in the other. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Most of our visitors are people who heard about us from a neighbor or a friend. It’s a simple life here. We start early, have our coffee, and get to work on whatever is on the table that day. The road outside gets a little narrow when cars are parked on both sides, but it’s a good neighborhood to be in. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the daily tasks.
