Denzil Tavares

My name is Denzil and I operate out of 23 Haji Mohamed Court on Clare Road. Byculla is where I’ve spent a lot of my time, and this spot is right near Christ Church School. You can always tell what time it is by the sound of the school bells or the noise of the students playing outside. It’s a solid old building. The stairs are a bit worn down from years of use but the place has a lot of character. I don’t really go in for the whole corporate office vibe. My space is just filled with the tools and papers I need for my daily tasks. Sometimes people get confused because there are a few similar addresses around here, but once you find the school, you’re basically there. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but not too bad if the weather is okay. I usually get in early before the heat really kicks in. The neighbors are a mix of folks who have been here for decades. We talk about the weather or the traffic mostly. I like the pace here. It’s fast but familiar to me. I don't have a big team or anything like that, it's mostly just me handling the details. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open to the road, but the breeze you get is usually worth it. It’s just a normal place where I do my work every day. No frills, just steady progress on whatever is on my desk that morning.
