Deluxe Plastics Arts

Deluxe Plastics Arts is over in Mahalaxmi, specifically at Unit 61 on the 3rd floor of the Evergreen Indl. Estate. It’s right on Shakti Mills Lane, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren’t looking for it. The estate is one of those old industrial places where there’s always the sound of machinery or someone hammering something. Being on the third floor means we have to haul everything up and down the lift, or the stairs if the lift is acting up, which it sometimes does. We work with plastics, so there’s often that specific smell in the air and bits of material on the floor. It’s not a "deluxe" place in the way people think of luxury, but the name has been with us for a while and we kept it. The space is filled with machines and workbenches. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just make what we make and hope people like what we produce. Mahalaxmi is a busy part of the city, and Shakti Mills Lane has its own history. We’re just one small part of it. Our workers have been with us for years, and we all just get along and do the job. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don’t bother with big speeches. We just stay at Unit 61 and keep the production line moving forward every day.
