I am Deepali P Bosamia and I operate my business from Keshavji Naik Road 3, which is situated in the heart of Kalbadevi. This part of Mumbai is famous for being incredibly busy and packed with all sorts of traders and shops. I have been based at this location for a good many years now, and I have become very familiar with the local pace of life. My office is a simple room in an older building that has been around for a long time. It doesn't have any of the modern luxuries you might find in a new office park, but it is solid and it works for what I need. I spend most of my time here dealing with the day-to-day details of my work. There isn't a large team of people working under me; I prefer to handle things myself so I know they are done right. The noise from the street outside is constant, with people shouting and horns honking, but it just becomes background noise after a while. I don't go in for fancy marketing or trying to sound more important than I am. This is just an honest, small-scale operation. I value being in a place with so much tradition and history. My desk is usually covered in papers, but I know exactly where everything is. It’s a practical and straightforward way to make a living in the city. I've seen the neighborhood change, but my work stays steady.
