Datta Auto Centre

We are located right on LBS Marg at the Maharashtra Kata. It’s in Kurla West and we are quite close to the Bori Crematorium. This is a very busy stretch of road with a lot of heavy traffic all day long. Being an auto centre, we see a lot of vehicles passing by. The shop is usually dusty because of the road and the work we do. We spend our days under car hoods or fixing parts. It is greasy work and our hands are rarely clean. We have been at this spot for a good many years. It is a simple workshop with tools scattered around. We know most of the regular drivers who pass through this part of Kurla. Sometimes it gets very loud with all the horns and engines outside. We don't have a fancy waiting room. Most people just stand around or sit on a stool while we look at their machines. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning to night. The crematorium nearby is a landmark everyone knows, so it makes finding us easier. We just focus on the task at hand. If a truck breaks down nearby, they often come to us for help. It’s a tough environment with the heat and the noise but we are used to it by now. We just open the shutters and get to work every single day. There isn't much more to it. We just fix the cars that come in.
