Daras Dhaba Restaurant & Bar

Our dhaba and bar is located right on Highway Number 3, part of the Eastern Express Highway near Kalyan. We are pretty close to the Sangrilla Resort, so a lot of people use that as a landmark to find us. Being out in Bhoirpada means we get a lot of travelers and truck drivers stopping by. It’s a bit different from the restaurants you find in the middle of Thane. We have a simple setup with a bar area and tables for eating. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We just focus on keeping the drinks cold and the food hot for whoever walks through the door. The highway is always loud, but you get used to the sound of the trucks going by. We stay open late because people are always traveling at all hours. We don't have any big mission or polished speeches. We just run the place as best as we can. Our regulars usually come in for a drink after work or on the weekends. The kitchen is basic and we make the usual dhaba dishes that people expect. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but we keep the tables wiped down. We’ve been here for several years now and we know the rhythms of the highway. If you're driving past Kalyan, we're just a regular spot to take a break.
