We've been here at Venkatesh Chambers for quite a while now. It's an old building on Prescot Road, right in the Fort area. Dealing with dyes and chemicals is what we do every day. It's busy work and the office gets a bit crowded with paperwork and samples sometimes. Being in South Mumbai means things move fast, but we've got our routine down. Most of us have worked here for years. We handle the orders as they come in and try to keep things organized, even when the phone doesn't stop ringing. Some days are smoother than others. We mostly just focus on getting the products out to the people who need them. It's not a fancy place, just a regular office where we get the job done. Sometimes the traffic outside on Prescot Road is a total mess, but that's just part of being in Fort. We know our neighbors and the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our chai. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and a lot of logbooks stacked on the shelves. If you find your way to room 202, you’ll see us there, usually busy with a shipment or some accounts. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don't really think twice about the long hours or the dusty files. We just keep going.
