D K Art Printers

D K Art Printers is on the second floor of the Dev Ashish Industrial Estate, at unit number 37. We are located on Barucha Road, right opposite Barucha Dairy in Dahisar. Being on the second floor means we have to haul all our paper and supplies up, which can be a bit of a workout. The estate is an old building, and it has that specific smell of ink and old stone. Inside our unit, it is quite cramped because we have several printing machines and large cutting tables taking up most of the room. There are stacks of finished work waiting to be picked up near the door. We usually have the windows open to get some air, but that also brings in the noise from the street and the dairy across the road. It’s a busy spot, and there is always someone moving something on the stairs. We spend our hours checking the alignment of the prints and making sure the colors are coming out okay. It is a bit of a manual process, and our hands are usually stained with ink by the time we go home. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some old chairs and a sturdy table for packing. It is a no-nonsense kind of place where the focus is just on the printing. We’ve been in Dahisar for years and have a regular routine that we stick to every day. It’s not perfect, but it works for us.
