Our office is tucked away in Mhada Colony in Mulund East, which is a busy part of Mumbai but has its own local feel. Being in a Mhada building means the space is pretty compact, so we all sit fairly close to each other. There is always the sound of someone typing or the hum of the fridge in the corner. Marketing in a city like this is always a bit of a scramble, but we manage to keep things organized. We spend a lot of time on our computers, looking at screens until our eyes get tired. The commute to Mulund East can be a bit of a grind for those of us living further out, but the colony itself is okay once you get inside. We usually grab lunch from one of the small places nearby or bring it from home and eat at our desks while watching videos. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. There are stacks of files that need filing and sometimes the internet goes slow when it rains too hard. We just keep working through it. We’ve been here for a bit now and have a routine that works for us. It’s just a group of people trying to do a good job without making a big deal out of it. We don't have a receptionist, so if the door knocks, whoever is closest just gets up to see who it is.
