We’re based in Kandivali West, specifically at 11 A G H Niwas on Mathuradas Road. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving and shaking. We are right opposite the Santilal Modi building, which is a big local landmark for everyone around here. Credit Information Bureau India Limited has been here for a while. The office isn't very large, especially considering how much work comes through these doors. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where every inch of space is used for something useful. Files are stacked pretty high on the shelves. The road outside is always loud with honking and people walking to the station. We’ve gotten used to the noise by now. It’s just part of the background. Most of us take the local train and then walk from the station to G H Niwas. It’s a short walk but can be a struggle during the monsoon when the rain is coming down hard. Inside, it’s a lot of typing and looking at records. We don’t have a fancy cafeteria, so we usually just eat at our desks or find a small place on Mathuradas Road for a quick bite. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to work. We don't put on any acts here. It’s just a bunch of people doing their jobs in a crowded city. The office feels lived-in and busy, which is exactly how we like it.
