Our office is tucked away at 124, Andheri Ind. Estate, just off Veera Desai Road. If you know Andheri West, you know how the traffic can get around here, especially in the evenings. The estate is a bit of a maze with all the different units and small trucks loading and unloading stuff in the narrow lanes. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and it suits us fine. There is always a lot of movement outside, boxes being moved, people shouting instructions, and the general hum of machines from the other workshops. Inside our space, it’s usually a bit of a mess with samples and paperwork everywhere. We don't have a fancy lobby or a guard at a desk. Most of the time, you’ll just find one of us sorting through things or answering the phone. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when it’s really hot in May, it struggles a bit. We get our lunch from the local dabba service or sometimes go out to the small stalls on the main road. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not particularly quiet or pretty, but it’s where the work happens. We start early and stay until the job is finished. It’s a very straightforward way of running things. Nothing is polished, just a lot of desks and shelves filled with what we’re currently working on. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it doesn't bother anyone.
