Our office for Countrywide Financial Corporation India Service P L is on the second floor of Sunder Nagar. If you know SV Road in Malad West, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and people moving around. We are in unit F2 9. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but it’s a good spot once you’re inside. Mumbai 400 064 is a crowded area so we are used to the noise from the street. We’ve been in this part of Maharashtra for some time now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and computers. We handle financial service paperwork and back-end stuff. It’s not a place with a lobby or fancy coffee machines. We just have a small pantry and our workstations. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we just take the stairs. Most of us live nearby or take the local train to Malad station and then a rickshaw. It gets busy during tax season and at the end of the month. We aren’t a huge team, just enough people to keep the operations running smooth. We don't do much advertising. People who need us usually know where the Sunder Nagar building is. It’s a practical space. We keep the windows shut to block out the SV Road dust but you can still hear the horns honking. It’s just how Mumbai life is for us at the office. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a group of people working in a second-floor unit.
