Cosweb Technologies is up on the sixth floor of H-16 in Oshiwara, Bhandup West. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here if the lift is being slow, which happens more often than we’d like. From our window in 604, we can see a bit of the surrounding neighborhood, which is mostly a mix of residential buildings and other small offices. We do a lot of web-related work here. The office is usually a mess of cables and notes scribbled on scraps of paper. We don’t really have a filing system that anyone else would understand, but we know where everything is. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we’re all in at the same time. Bhandup West is a busy place, and we feel connected to the energy of the city from up here. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines, just a basic jar of instant coffee and some milk in the fridge. We mostly focus on coding and fixing bugs that people find on their sites. It’s quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the occasional frustration when something doesn’t work. We don’t have a big corporate story to tell anyone. We just needed a place to work, and this room in Oshiwara was available at the time. It’s served us well so far, and we’re used to the quirks of the building now. The view is alright when the weather is clear. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the tasks.
