Mumbai is always moving fast, but our little corner in Goregaon feels a bit more like a neighborhood. Working out of a flat means it’s a bit more relaxed than those huge office towers downtown. We’ve got our computers set up and shelves full of documents. The building is part of a larger complex, so there are always people walking around and kids playing nearby. It’s a very human place to work. We handle various consultancy tasks, mostly sticking to our schedules and making sure the clients get what they asked for. We don't really have a big marketing budget or anything. People mostly find us because they need specific professional help and they know we are here. The rooms are filled with the sound of typing and the occasional ceiling fan. We take our lunches together sometimes or just grab something from the local shops. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just show up at Flat 15 every day and do the work that’s waiting for us. Mumbai 65 is a busy pin code, but we manage to stay focused in our small space. It's just a regular group of people working hard and trying to keep things organized amidst all the city chaos.
