Comtel

Comtel is located at C-17 Bhaktisudha, on D. M. Road in Vakola. This is over in Santacruz East, which is a busy part of the city to say the least. Our shop has been here for a while, and we deal with things like Samsung Television sets and other electronics. The space is a bit tight because we have boxes and parts stored in every available corner. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know exactly where every tool and spare part is kept. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people heading toward the station. We open up the shutters every morning and start checking what needs to be fixed or delivered. Sometimes customers come in just to ask a quick question about their TV. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the technical side of things. The walls are a plain color, and the floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic. We usually have a radio playing softly in the background while we work. It’s a very local kind of business. We don't use fancy jargon; we just tell people what’s wrong with their gear and try to get it sorted. Being in Santacruz East means we see all sorts of people every day. It’s a hard-working atmosphere here at Bhaktisudha, and we just take it one day at a time. It’s good to be on D. M. Road.
