Our place is at 9 Makarand on the 2nd floor. It is in Shivaji Nagar which is part of the Naupada area in Thane. The pin code is 400 602. You have to walk up some stairs to get to us since we are not on the ground level. The building is an older one but it is sturdy enough. Being in Naupada means there is always something going on outside on the streets. We have been here at the Computer Society of India office for a while now. The office is a bit small but we make it work for the daily tasks. We have some chairs for visitors and a couple of desks where we keep the records. It is usually quiet during the mornings before the traffic really picks up outside. Shivaji Nagar is a well known spot so most people do not have much trouble finding the building. We spend most of our day here looking at screens or talking to people who drop by for information. The 2nd floor keeps us away from some of the dust on the road but it can get a bit warm in the summer months. We have some windows that look out over the local neighborhood. It is just a regular work space where we handle things for the society. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights out front. It is just a plain door with our name on it. Anyway, that is where we are.
