Computer Bookshop India Pvt Ltd is located on the ground floor of the Kitab Mahal Building. It is right next to the Central Bank of India. If you know the area, you know Kitab Mahal is an old building with a lot of character. We have rows and rows of books, mostly about computers, programming, and different kinds of technology. It is fairly quiet in here compared to the busy street outside. We spend time unpacking new editions and putting them on the shelves. Some of the books are quite heavy and take up a lot of space. We get students coming in looking for textbooks and professionals looking for manuals on specific software. The lighting isn't the brightest in the back, but it works for browsing. We have a small desk where we handle the sales. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the paper, so we have to clean the shelves more often than we would like. It is a small team working here. We know where everything is located, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. People like that they can actually touch the books before they buy them. We do not really do any big advertisements. The building itself is famous enough that people usually find their way to us. It feels like an old-fashioned shop despite selling books about modern technology. We just keep things running.
