Comptel Systems

We’ve been running Comptel Systems from this spot at 210 Jhalawar in the industrial estate for quite a while now. It’s right across from Shreyas Cinema on LBS Marg in Ghatkopar East. You know how it is in this part of Mumbai, things get busy and the traffic on the main road is always something else. We just show up every morning and get to work on whatever needs doing that day. It’s a bit of a cramped space sometimes with all the gear we have laying around, but it works for us. Most people find us because they’re already in the area for something else or they saw the cinema sign and turned the right way. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular workplace where we handle systems and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same old building. If you’re walking past the industrial estate, you’ll probably see our door. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. It's mostly just us and the machines. We keep the lights on and the work gets finished. That is pretty much the story of how we do things here. No big secrets or complicated setups, just a local business trying to stay busy.
