Comptechworld

Our shop, Comptechworld, is tucked away in Shop No. 32 of Shobhnath Patel Chawl. We are right opposite Samsan Tedki in the Pratap Nagar area of Jogeshwari East, just off J.V.L.R. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how busy the roads can get, especially during the rush hours. The shop is small and filled with computers, parts, and wires. It is a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. People from the neighborhood drop by when their laptops acting up or if they need some quick tech help. Being in a chawl means we are close to the community. You can hear the sounds of the street and people talking right outside the door. It is not a fancy showroom with glass windows and bright lights. It is just a regular place where we sit and fix things. Pratap Nagar has a lot of energy and there is always something happening on the street. We have been here for a long time now. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy around the entrance, but we deal with it. We just focus on the tech work and talking to the folks who come in. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't really do big advertisements; people just find us by walking past or hearing from a friend. There is always a pile of keyboards or old monitors sitting around. We just keep tinkering with the machines until they work again. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work.
