Our office is in Chembur, specifically at Rcf Colony. We are in Building No 2, and the flat is 5 Type 5. Mumbai is always cramped for space, so being in the Rcf Colony is actually quite nice because there is a bit more room and some trees around. The pin code is Mumbai400074. Chembur is a busy area, and the smell from the nearby industrial plants is something you just get used to after a week or so. It’s a residential area, so we are surrounded by families living their lives. Our setup for Cognizant Tech Solutions is pretty basic. We have our desks crammed into the rooms, and we make do with what we have. It’s a long commute for some of us who live further out, but the train station isn't too far away. The building is a standard government-style construction, nothing fancy to look at. We don't have a big sign, so people often get lost looking for Building No 2. You have to navigate through the colony gates and follow the signs. It’s a quiet place mostly, except for when children are playing outside in the evenings. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a very grounded way to work, far away from the shiny towers of South Mumbai or the financial districts.
