This branch of CMS Computers is based out of New Navy Nagar in Colaba. Our address is Flat no. R20/6D. Being in a residential naval area means things are a bit more structured around here, but our office is still pretty cramped. We have workstations squeezed into the rooms and wires running along the floorboards. Colaba has that old Mumbai feel, and the sea breeze sometimes makes everything a bit salty, which isn't great for the server fans. We mostly handle technical support and hardware maintenance for the people and offices in this part of town. It is a small team here. We don't have a big sign out front, so you really have to know which building to look for. Most of our day is spent looking at monitors or taking apart old CPUs that have given up the ghost. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the AC is old and makes a rattling sound. We keep a stash of biscuits and tea bags in the drawer for when the work goes late. It is a very practical setup. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and a few technical diagrams taped up. We just focus on getting the repairs done so people can get back to their jobs. It’s a tight space but we make it work with what we have. It is just basic technical labor in a busy part of the city.
