Cms Computers Ltd. is based out of Room 201 in the Arcadia building at Nariman Point. Being in such a well-known area of Mumbai means there is always a lot of energy outside, but inside our office, it’s a lot more focused. The building has been around for a long time, and you can feel that history in the hallways and the way the windows are set. We have a modest space on the second floor where we keep our technical gear and workstations. It’s not one of those modern offices with bean bags or glass walls. Instead, we have solid desks and plenty of shelves for manuals and spare parts. Most of the staff has been coming to this same spot for years, so we have our routines down perfectly. We know which tea vendor has the best snacks and which elevator is the fastest. Working in computer services means there is always something that needs attention, whether it’s a server issue or a hardware failure someone brought in. We just take things as they come, one task at a time. The air in Nariman Point always has a bit of a salty tang from the sea, and we sometimes take a walk by the water after we finish up for the day. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to stay on top of the technical side of things.
