Our place is in A 6 Rajendra Society, right near Ramesh Nagar in Amboli. If you know Andheri West, you know it's always crowded and moving fast. We've been running Cms Computers Ltd from this spot for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the towers and laptops we have lying around but we make it work somehow. Most days start with a lot of noise from the street outside and a big stack of things that need fixing. We're close to the main roads which makes it easy for folks to drop things off on their way home from work. Amboli is a good neighborhood, very lively and always something happening. We mostly deal with the usual computer headaches that everyone has. Sometimes we're working late trying to finish a setup or get a system running again for a customer. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a practical space where we can get our hands dirty with the hardware and cables. We know most of the people who walk by the shop every day. Mumbai life is fast but in here we try to focus on one machine at a time. We've got our routine down, and even though the space is small, it serves us well. It’s just how it is for a local business in Andheri. We keep our tools ready and just take whatever comes through the door. It’s a living and we like it.
