Our office is tucked away in 17A 15 inside the Takshilla Society on Mahakali Caves Road. Being in Andheri East means there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside, but once you get inside the society gates, things quiet down a little bit. We spend most of our hours sitting at the desks here, looking at numbers and talking on the phone with various people. The room is usually filled with the sound of typing and the occasional hum of the air conditioner trying to keep the Mumbai heat away. We have been at this address for some time, and we know the local tea stalls and the guys at the gate pretty well. It is a practical setup without any unnecessary decorations or flashy signs. Most of our day involves sorting through files and making sure the paperwork is in the right pile. The Mahakali Caves area is busy, so the commute can be a bit of a struggle for some of us, but we are used to it by now. We just come in, do what needs to be done for the capital side of things, and then head home when the sun goes down. It is a steady rhythm that we have fallen into over the years here in 400093. It isn't anything fancy, just a group of us working through the daily tasks and managing the advisory work.
