Our office is located inside the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Bandra Kurla Complex. It is a massive place and can be hard to navigate if you are not used to it. We are in CW 4050, which is over in the G Block area. Dealing with the security checks there every single day is quite a process. It is always very busy and there are people everywhere. Bandra East is a part of Mumbai that is always moving fast. We spend our hours inside this small office room. It feels very different from the rest of the building which is usually full of diamond traders and businessmen. We just do our own thing. We have some desks and a few laptops set up. The air conditioning is always running because the room gets stuffy without it. BKC is an expensive area but it is where we ended up for now. We usually go out for a quick lunch at one of the stalls nearby. The elevators take forever in the mornings when everyone is arriving. It is a lot of walking just to get from the main gate to our actual desk. We have got a small bookshelf and some old files sitting around. There is not much decoration on the walls. We are usually too busy with our work to worry about how the place looks. It is a strange place to be sometimes, but we have our little corner.
