Our office is on the first floor in the MIDC Area, right near Tunga Paradise and Chrysalis. It’s a big commercial zone, so there are people everywhere during the day. We’ve got a pretty standard setup with some computers, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a small area where we keep the kettle. Most of our time is spent looking at code or trying to solve some technical problem that’s popped up. It’s not very glamorous work, and sometimes we sit in silence for hours just focusing on what’s on the screen. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of employees; we’re just a small team trying to keep up with everything. The air conditioning is usually cranked up because the machines get warm, and we often find ourselves working late into the evening when the rest of the building has gone quiet. We know the security guards at the entrance and the guys who run the sandwich stall downstairs quite well. Sometimes we go out for a quick walk just to clear our heads when a project gets frustrating. We don't have any big goals or fancy slogans on the walls. We just show up, do the tech work that needs doing, and try to make sure everything is working the way it’s supposed to for the people who use our stuff. It’s a simple life, mostly spent in front of a monitor, but we like it.
