You can find Choice Optics Photo Centre over in Rawalpada, specifically in the J P Tiwari Chawl on S N Dubey Road. Dahisar is a busy place, and our corner of it is no different. The shop is a bit small, but we have managed to fit everything we need for both eye care and photography inside. It’s a bit of an unusual combination, but it’s what we do. The lighting in here isn't always perfect for taking portraits, but we have our ways of making it work for passport photos and family shots. People from the chawl and the surrounding buildings often stop by for a quick eye check-up or to pick up a new pair of frames. We aren't part of any big chain of stores. It’s just us here, making sure people can see clearly and helping them keep their memories in print. Sometimes the kids are playing cricket right outside the door and it gets a bit loud, but that’s just part of the atmosphere. The shelves are usually a bit cluttered with lens cases and old camera bodies, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We don't bother with expensive advertising. Most people come to us because they’ve seen us here for years. It’s a very hands-on, local business. We just take things one day at a time, serving whoever walks through the door without any fancy talk or pretension.
