Chirag Saiya

Being based in Mumbai means things are always moving fast for us at Chirag Saiya. We don't have a giant warehouse or a skyscraper office; it’s more of a practical setup where we can get our tasks done without too much fuss. The city is loud and crowded, and our workplace feels a lot like that too. We spend a lot of time navigating the traffic to meet people or get supplies. It’s just the reality of living and working here. There are piles of paper on the desks and the phone rings more than I’d like some days. We don’t really have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be doing accounting and the next I’m packing boxes. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, like anyone else. Mumbai can be a hard place to grow a business, but we’ve stuck with it. We don't have a marketing department to write nice things about us. We just rely on the fact that we show up and do what we said we would. Sometimes we run late because of the rain or the local trains, but we always catch up. It’s just a normal Indian business trying to make its way. You won’t find any fancy slogans here, just people working hard. We just keep going because that is what you do in Mumbai.
