Chips Bytes Infotech is up on the third floor of Sheriar Flats. We are at number 6 on 5th Road. If you are looking for us, we are near where Uday Cinema used to be in Ghatkopar West. Mumbai is always loud, so it’s never really silent here even on the third floor. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we'd like. It’s a regular apartment that we turned into a workspace. It’s got that old Mumbai building feel to it. We have our computers set up and wires going everywhere. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time looking at screens. Ghatkopar is a busy area, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack or a tea when we take a break. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Most of the other people in the flats know us. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. The windows look out over the street and you can see the traffic moving slowly below. We just keep doing what we do, fixing things and handling the tech side of things. It’s a practical setup. No one wears suits here. We just show up and get to work on the 5th Road. Sometimes we forget to take out the trash until the end of the week.
