China Land

We are located at Shop No 8 in the Maniaz building on Tardeo Road. This is in the Tardeo area of Mumbai. China Land is quite close to the Sobo Central mall, so a lot of people stop by after they finish their shopping. Mumbai is a very fast city and Tardeo Road is always packed with cars and buses. Our shop is quite small, so it can get a bit crowded inside when more than a few people are waiting. We have been here for a long time and have seen the mall come up and things change around us. We still do things the old way. We don't have any fancy computer systems for orders. We just write them down on a slip of paper. The kitchen is right there and you can hear the sounds of the fire and the pans. We don't have much storage space so we have to get fresh supplies delivered almost every day. It is a lot of coordinating with the local vendors. We don't have a PR person or anyone to write nice things about us online. We just keep our heads down and work. The floor gets a bit greasy from the cooking but we scrub it down every night. It is a simple life running a small shop in Mumbai. We are just glad to be here and doing our work every single day as the traffic goes past.
