Chemcoplast

We are located in Ganeshkripa CHS, which is a residential-cum-commercial building in Goregaon. It’s right behind Rajendra Park, very close to the station road. Being near the station is a blessing for the staff but a nightmare for parking. Chemcoplast has been here for a good while. We deal with plastic compounds and chemical mixtures. Our space is mostly taken up by sample bags and testing equipment. It smells a bit like resin inside, but you get used to it after five minutes. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is what the customer asked for. The office is usually a mess of papers and half-empty chai cups. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window in July, so we put a bucket there. It’s a simple life. We know the local tea stall guy and the delivery drivers by name. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People find us by word of mouth or because they saw our sign near the park. We just keep our heads down and get the mixing done. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find a way to enjoy the routine. Goregaon is changing fast, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just keep our records in order.
