Our place is located at 126 Hill Road, tucked away off Somnath Lane in Bandra West. Mumbai’s Bandra area is always moving, and Hill Road is basically the center of all that activity. We are in a spot that is a bit removed from the main noise of the shopping crowds but still very much in the middle of everything. The office for Channel Iii Internet isn’t very large, but it works well for what we do. We deal with internet-related work, so as long as our connection is fast and stable, we are happy. The building has that old Bandra character, which we actually like. It isn’t one of those modern glass towers. It feels more like a real place where people actually live and work. We have our desks, some old files, and usually some snacks lying around for the afternoon. We spend our days troubleshooting and managing various things. Sometimes the monsoon makes the lane a bit messy to walk through, but that is just how life goes in Mumbai. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a polished lobby. You just walk in and we are there working. It is a very casual vibe. We’ve been around this part of Mumbai for a while and we’ve seen the nearby shops change, but we stay pretty consistent. It is a good neighborhood to be in, even if finding a parking spot is a total nightmare.
