The office for Cgif It Consulting is right on the first floor of the Trade Center in Mumbai. If you know the Bandra Kurla Complex area, you know it is always crowded and everyone is in a big rush. We are right opposite the MTNL building, which makes it pretty easy to tell people exactly where we are located. Being in Bandra East means the commute is what it is—lots of trains, rickshaws, and traffic. We have got a decent setup here on the first floor. It is mostly just desks, computer screens, and a lot of half-empty coffee cups. We do consulting work, so there is a lot of talking on phones and looking at data for hours. It gets quite noisy sometimes because of the location, but that is just the Mumbai way. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing. We just show up, do the tasks that need doing, and try to head home before the worst of the evening rush hour hits the streets. The building itself is quite standard for this area. We share the space with a lot of other businesses, so you see all kinds of different people in the elevators. It is a busy and loud environment. We keep our files organized and try to stay on top of the schedule. Nothing too fancy, just a group of people working in the heart of the business district. We have been here for a bit now and the office works for us.
