We are located at 310 Shankar Nagar, right near the Hanuman Temple in Nagpur. Most people use the temple as a landmark when they are trying to find us. It’s a good, solid area to be in. Our office is a branch of Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd. It isn’t a fancy place with modern art on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular office where we sit and handle banking tasks all day. We have local people from the neighborhood coming in for their daily transactions. It’s nice because you get to know the regulars. We handle things like cash deposits, helping with account questions, and the usual paperwork that comes with banking. The building itself is simple and we try to keep it organized, though with all the files it can look a bit lived-in. Nagpur gets very hot in the summer, so we’re always glad for the shade the building provides. We don’t have any big mission statements or promotional posters everywhere. We just focus on making sure the accounts are correct and people get their money when they need it. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and we’re just a part of the daily life in Shankar Nagar. Usually, the mornings are quiet and things pick up after lunch. We just do our work and go home. That is really all there is to it.
