Carwaz

We are down in the basement of Building A/2, Aja in Malad East. It is very close to the Malad Railway Station, so you can hear the trains passing by quite clearly. Being in the basement means it stays a little cooler than the street level, but it can get a bit dark. We work on cars down here. It is a tight space, so we have to be careful how we park them. There is usually the smell of oil or cleaning fluids in the air. We have some basic tools and equipment scattered around. It’s not a shiny showroom. It is more of a practical workspace where we focus on the vehicles. Sometimes the entrance is hard to spot if you aren't looking for the basement ramp. We get a lot of commuters who leave their cars with us while they go to the station. We have been at this Malad location for a while. The walls have some scuffs and the floor is concrete. It’s a hardworking environment. We don’t have a big reception area, just a small corner where we keep the keys and the logbook. Most of our customers come from the neighborhood or find us because they use the station every day. We just focus on the cars and try to get them back to their owners on time. Carwaz is just a simple basement shop where we do our daily labor.
