We are based over at 901 Blue Star Chs, which is located in Azad Nagar on JP Road in Andheri West. Being in Mumbai, the area is always moving and there is a lot of noise from the traffic on JP Road. Our office is up on the ninth floor, so we get a bit of a view of the neighborhood from our windows. Capgemini India Pvt Ltd has this space set up for the daily grind. It is a pretty standard office layout without any of the unnecessary bells and whistles you see in those tech magazines. Most of us take the train and then a rickshaw to get here, so the morning starts can be a little rushed. The building is a typical residential and commercial mix that you find all over Andheri. Inside, it is just desks, chairs, and a small area where we keep the water filter and some snacks. We spend a lot of time on our computers, but there is always someone talking or a phone ringing in the background. It feels like a real workplace where people are actually doing things rather than just sitting in meetings all day. On rainy days, you can see the clouds rolling in over the city from the 901 windows. It is just a simple, honest place to work and we have gotten used to the rhythm of this part of Mumbai over the years.
