Ghatkopar West is a very busy and crowded place, and our little corner is no different from the rest. We have been here for a good while, working out of this small space. It is certainly not a big corporate tower or anything fancy like that. It is a humble spot where we focus on our daily work and tasks. There is always noise coming from the street and people moving around the temple area, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We start our day early and usually stay until the work is finished for the night. We do not have a big team or any flashy signs hanging outside. It is just us doing what needs to be done. Sometimes we have to move things around to make a bit of extra space if we have a lot of items coming in. The monsoon season makes things a bit difficult with the small leaks here and there, but we manage with what we have. People in the neighborhood know us as the folks working in the chawl. We do not really do much in the way of advertising. If someone needs us, they usually just show up at the door. It is a very local way of doing things, and it suits how we live and work in Mumbai.
