We are tucked away in Room No 04 over at Cheetah Camp in Mumbai. It’s a busy spot, and things can get pretty loud outside with people going about their day, but inside we just focus on our work. The company name is Capgemini Consulting Outsourcing Pvt Ltd, though we don't really use the full long name when we're just talking among ourselves. It’s a small space, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the business districts, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Maharashtra weather can be tough sometimes, especially during the monsoon when the rain hits the roof, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We usually start the morning with some chai from the vendor down the lane. Most of us have lived in Mumbai for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and how to manage the daily rush. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting you at the door, just us at our desks. We take care of our tasks and try to keep things organized. It’s a practical place for practical people. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the internet slows down, but that’s just part of life here. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just an honest day’s work in a part of the city that stays active from sunrise until way after dark.
