We are situated in Flat No 602 of the Nishigandha Building, which is part of Manas Phase 1 in Pune. Being on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a breeze when we open the windows, which is quite nice during the summer months. At this Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd location, we’ve kept things very straightforward. The office is basically just one large room where we’ve set up our computers and a couple of printers. It’s not a polished corporate environment with glass walls or marble floors. Instead, it’s a place where you can see the wear and tear on the desks and where the chairs don't always match perfectly. We don't really mind, as long as everything works. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of typing and maybe someone on a phone call in the corner. We get our work from the main office and just focus on finishing it by the deadline. There’s no big cafeteria here, so we usually just walk down to one of the local spots in Manas Phase 1 to grab some Poha or a tea. It’s a very human way of working. We talk about our weekends, complain about the traffic on the way in, and help each other out when someone gets stuck on a problem. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our daily routine and we’ve grown quite fond of the building and the people around us.
