Our workspace is Flat No 401, located in the L 2 A Wing of Patiksha Nagar. It’s right there in Sion Kolowada, which is a part of Mumbai that always feels alive. Working here at Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd is a bit different from being in a massive office park. We are right in the middle of a residential colony, so the atmosphere is quite laid back. The flat is functional, with enough room for our equipment and a small area to sit and take a break. We don't have a fancy sign outside or anything like that. People who need to find us usually just look for the wing and the flat number. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the air conditioner and the clicking of keyboards. We’ve lived with the same wall paint for years, and the furniture is just basic office stuff we bought a while back. There is a small window that lets in some light, but mostly we are focused on what’s happening on our desks. Since it’s Sion, getting lunch is never a problem because there are so many local stalls nearby selling good food. We often take turns going out to grab snacks for the group in the afternoon. It’s a small, tight-knit group of people here. We don't really do big meetings, we just talk across the room when something needs to be sorted out. It’s simple and it works for what we do.
