Canara Bank

Our office for the Canara Bank T I Division is up on the 7th floor of Maker Chamber III, right in Nariman Point. Even though this is a big business district in Mumbai, our day-to-day life inside the office is pretty ordinary. We spend a lot of time at our desks looking at screens and dealing with various bank records. The view from the 7th floor is okay, but we’re usually too busy to look out the window much. It’s a bit more formal than a small local branch because of where we are, but we still keep things simple. There’s a lot of coming and going in this building, and the elevators are always packed during the morning and evening rush. Inside our space, you’ll find plenty of computers, stacks of reports, and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have a big design or any fancy decorations. It’s just a place to work. We have our routines—getting the coffee started, checking the mail, and getting through the pile of tasks on the list. It can get pretty loud when everyone is on the phone at the same time, but we’ve all gotten used to the hum of the office. We are just a group of people making sure the division’s work gets handled properly. It’s not glamorous, but it’s a solid place to be. We just focus on the task at hand.
