You can find our workshop at 21, Shreepal Industrial Estate. It’s located in Pavan Baug, right near Chincholi Phatak on S.V. Road in Malad West. It’s a very crowded area to be in. There’s always something going on out on S.V. Road. The industrial estate itself is a bit tucked away from the main noise. We do engineering jobs here for various people. Mostly it is machining and fabrication stuff. The workshop is always noisy during the day. You eventually get used to the constant sound of the lathes and the drills. It’s definitely not a place for quiet thinking or naps. We are always moving around from one machine to another. We have a small office tucked in the far corner for the billing and the telephone. The phone rings quite a lot during the morning. Most of the time it’s just people asking about when their orders will be ready. We try to be as honest as possible about the timing. If it's going to take us a week, we just say it will take a week. We don't like making promises we can't actually keep. The guys on the floor are very skilled at what they do. They’ve been doing this kind of work for many years now. We usually eat our lunch together around one o'clock. Usually, someone brings something extra to share with the group. It’s a friendly place, even if it looks a bit rough from the outside.
