Cambridge Time Spares

Our shop is at 79 Ebrahim Rehmatulla Road, which is quite close to J.J. Hospital. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there is always noise and movement right outside our door. We specialize in time spares, which means our shelves are full of tiny parts, glass, and tools that most people wouldn't even recognize. The shop is small and the lighting has to be bright so we can see what we’re doing with the smaller pieces. We’ve been in this location for a long time, and the interior hasn't changed much over the years. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than two customers inside at once. We spend our days sorting through bins of components and answering questions about older watch or clock models. It’s precise work and it requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the drawers get a bit mixed up, so we spend Saturday afternoons organizing everything back into place. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a big staff. It’s just us and the parts. The hospital nearby means there are always people around, and we get quite a bit of foot traffic from folks just passing by. We like the area despite the congestion. We just focus on providing the specific parts people are looking for and keeping the clocks ticking as best we can. It’s a steady way to spend the day.
