Cam Tool

Cam Tool is located on the third floor of the VTM Building, which you’ll find in the Mehra Compound. We are right on the Andheri Kurla Road, directly opposite where the old Orkay Mill used to be. It’s a very busy part of Andheri East, and the noise from the traffic and the metro construction is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Our office, room 301, isn't very big. It’s mostly filled with computer workstations and some technical books. We spend our time here working on CAM software and helping people out with their manufacturing setups. It’s a practical space, not something you’d see in a magazine. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine that makes fancy lattes. We just have a kettle and our desks. Being in this part of Mumbai is convenient because we’re close to a lot of our customers in the industrial estates nearby, but it also means dealing with the constant crowd. We’ve been at this location for a while and we know the building inside and out. We aren't trying to sound like a big multinational corporation. We’re just a small team of people who know our software and like to get the work done without too much fuss. Sometimes the building elevator is acting up, so we end up taking the stairs, but that’s just life in an older Mumbai commercial complex.
