Calyx Global Resources

Being up here at Royal Palm in Aarey Milk Colony is different from the rest of Mumbai. It’s greener, though the commute to Goregaon East can be a bit of a slog depending on the time of day. Calyx Global Resources is located at Summit Apartments, specifically in No. 415. The apartment setup works fine for what we do. It’s quiet mostly, except for the sounds of the colony. Some mornings you can see the mist over the trees if you get in early enough. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs if we aren’t carrying much. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace with desks and some old cabinets for our files. We don’t have those big glass walls you see in the corporate parks. It’s more of a lived-in space. Most of our day is spent on the phones or looking at the computer. We get our tea from a flask we bring from home. It’s a bit of a trek for delivery people to find Summit Apartments sometimes, so we end up giving directions over the phone quite a bit. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We like the air out here in Aarey, it feels a bit fresher than the city center. We just get on with things and go home when the work is done. It's a long way from the station, so we don't get many walk-ins.
